About the Blue Forest Blog

The Blue Forest Blog is about software development done by John Romkey at Blue Forest Research, LLC. I may use the blog to report on work we’re doing, but mostly we’ll talk about technical issues we’ve encountered, share information we’ve found, and once in a while we may solicit advice or opinions on technical issues.

The blogs that I work with use Wordpress, and postings related to them will most likely be about Wordpress, PHP, Apache, and issues about blog management and marketing. John’s software projects are written in Perl, use HTML::Mason for HTML management, the Catalyst Framework for web site structure, and MySQL for the backend database.

This blog itself runs on Wordpress with MySQL as the backing database engine. One of the things I’ll be doing in the blog is reviewing the various Wordpress plugins that I use.
